Denise's Home is a safe haven for foster care young adults aged 13-21. We create creative spaces where youth can gain hands-on experiences, earn their high school diploma, and receive mentorship. Our programs and services are designed to help young adults transition into independent living and provide them with the skills and support they need to succeed.
Our Programs
Denise's Home offers diverse programs to empower foster care young adults. We provide educational support, vocational training, life skills training, and mentorship. Our initiatives include high school diploma/GED assistance, tutoring, vocational programs (culinary arts, computer programming, cosmetology), essential life skills training (cooking, cleaning, budgeting), and mentor pairing for guidance in education, career goals, and personal development.


Educational Support
We help young adults earn their high school diploma or GED. We also offer tutoring, college prep classes, and financial literacy workshops.

Mentorship
We provide all of our young adults with a mentor who will work with them one-on-one to provide guidance and support as they transition into independent living.

Vocational Training
We offer a variety of vocational training programs, including culinary arts, computer programming, and cosmetology.

Life Skills Training
​We teach young adults essential life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting. We also provide counseling and support to help them deal with the challenges of transitioning into independent living.

Counseling and Therapy
We offer counseling and therapy services to all of our young adults, including individual and group therapy, as well as family counseling.
Health and Wellness
We provide comprehensive health and wellness services to all of our young adults, including physical exams, vaccinations, and mental health services.
Employment Services
Our employment services are designed to help young adults in foster care find and maintain gainful employment. We offer job search assistance, resume building, and interview preparation.
Housing Assistance
We provide housing assistance to all of our young adults, including assistance with finding affordable housing and securing rental assistance.
Education and Training
We offer a variety of educational and training programs to help young adults develop the skills they need to succeed in life, including vocational training, computer skills training, and financial literacy education.
Advocacy and Support
We provide advocacy and support services to all of our young adults, including legal support, financial counseling, and assistance with accessing government benefits.
